The chronogram means: LISTEN TO THE THREE FULFILMENTS (1707)
The chronogram refers to the Archconfraternity of the Most Holy Trinity, which was founded in 1646 by the Bogards for the liberation of Christian slaves.
This house, or at least this gate, was part of the Bogaarden complex, which was located in this spot.
No. 9 also belonged to it, as well as the rear house No. 9a, which was the brewery house of the monastic order and where the modern stone 16 THE BEGAARDEN COURT 25 now stands in the gable.
The monastery was dissolved in the French era, iits buildings confiscated and sold as residential properties.
