Remarkable is the missing letter in GUDEN. Considering the house name, it must have read Gulden or Gouden (=Golden).
In 1954 IN THE GOLDEN APPLE, from Lenculenstraat 26, was reinstalled at Markt 21 in the house formerly called "in den iseren man" (=in the iron man).
